Team FrogFit is a group fitness program that utilizes the unique principles, mindset, & physical training components that have successfully built United States Navy SEAL teams to nourish an inclusive community of likeminded, motivated, supportive, team-first citizens. Our classes are coached by a former U.S. Navy SEAL and BUD/S instructor and incorporate both physical & mental health components, all pulling from the firsthand experience & unparalleled team-building mechanisms of the most elite Special Operations teams in world.  ​​​​We aren’t here to build the next generation of Navy SEALs, but rather to foster a supportive & uplifting community of dedicated everyday warriors each aspiring to be “greater than yesterday,” one evolution at a time. Our workouts are completely modifiable for every fitness level and achievable for anyone with the motivation to succeed!

As a species, we remain in an unprecedented epidemic of loneliness; as of April 2024, HALF of all Americans identified as feeling lonely. Despite the fact that we are inherently social creatures and were never built to do life alone, we remain tethered to devices, addicted to social media, largely socially isolated, and entirely disconnected from our communities. Besides the obvious mental health toll of this loneliness crisis, there are significant health implications too: the most recent Surgeon General’s report indicates that loneliness & social isolation increase the risk of premature death by TWENTY-NINE percent. (This is equivalent to the impact of smoking 15 cigarettes per day.) Additionally, loneliness increases the risk of heart disease, dementia and stroke. Our mission upon developing Team FrogFit was to bring back to humanity those lost senses of COMMUNITY & TEAMWORK through group fitness- one hour, “one evolution at a time.”​​

 

 

Our program is the first of its kind and radically different in both curriculum & mindset than other existing programs. Our 1 hour group workout sessions- which we affectionately call “evolutions” as a nod of authenticity to the Navy SEAL training pipeline- focus on full body functionality through the use of exercises with both body weight and gear/equipment. These evolutions are always completed as a team with strong emphasis on partnership, group motivation, & the collaborative nature of the experience. All of this with a Navy SEAL instructor- who happens to know a thing or two about building some of the best teams in the world- at the helm, often times sharing real life accounts of his own SEAL training & journey to motivate & inspire. Many members have reported that our workouts feel a lot like "grown-up gym class" or "adult obstacle courses," and we take tremendous pride in this- We embrace the suck as a team, but we also have fun as a team. Work hard, play hard.

 

We are based out of Bedford, MA and serve all of its surrounding communities! We meet outdoors for our evolutions as often as possible- YES, even in cooler temperatures and light precipitation. (to train like SEAL, working outside of your comfort zone is a MUST, including weather & elements!) In the case of extreme weather or heavy precipitation, we have partnered with MK Boxing at 1 Esquire Road in North Billerica, MA to utilize their indoor space.
